	Sonja Hochmeister from Graz, Austria, for her project “Stroke and immunity”, which she will carry out at the Charité Berlin, DE, chaired by Prof. A. Meisel.
	Björn Machner from Lübeck, Germany, for his project “Pharmacological remission of hemispatial neglect via dopamine D1 receptors: a proof-of-concept study”, which he will carry out at the University College London, UK, chaired by Prof Masud Husain.
	Raffaella Migliaccio from Paris, France, for her project “Cognitive neuroscience of posterior cerebral atrophy: “parietal” deficits and neuroanatomical correlates”, which she will carry out at the University Hospital of san Raffaele Milan, IT, chaired by Prof. M. Filippi.
	Katiuscia Nardi from Perugia, Italy, for her project “Influence of HDL-C cholesterol levels on outcome in patients treated by intravenous recombinant tissue plasminogen activator for acute cerebral ischaemia”, which she will carry out at the University Hospital of Lille, France, chaired by Prof Didier Leys.
	Paolo Ripellino from Novara, Italy, for his project “Immunopathology of Gadofluorine M- versus superparamagnetic iron oxide particle (SPIO)-enhancing MRI lesions in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis”, which he will carry out at the University Hospital of Würzburg, DE, chaired by Prof Klaus V. 	Radu Tanasescu from Bucharest, Romania, for his project “Neuroplasticity in anterior visual pathway dysfunction-associated scotoma: modeling optic neuritis”, which he will carry out at the University Hospital of Nottingham, UK, chaired by Prof Penny Gowland and Prof Chris Constantinescu.
